DEArest TAswegians
SO apparently its hot outside today in the GEE. (thats Cool slang for Geelong) I wouldn't know tho - Im lapping it up in the Mansh (thats slang for Kyles parents HUmUNGOUs mansion sized house) Im talking two lounge areas, two dining areas, an office, a massive kitchen, 4 bedrooms, a verandah which runs around the entire house and a Christmas tree... (being that time of year of course) Did I mention the free standing bath has little lion feet?..
Im debating (after making my famous caramel slice on the German oven) if I should go play table tennis on the deck and actually go outside or just go watch tellie on the Plasma.. hmm what to do, what to do. *relaxed sigh* I suppose this is what people do when they are incubating babies. Might go wrap some Christmas pressies instead.
Ciao
p.s Kyle is at work hahahahaha

Vaccination 2.1
So after a very constructive couple of blogs on Vaccination and some very helpful replies Kyle and I will be looking into guarding against disease naturally with our children.
Now I know people are saying Heavenly Father wouldn't put Vaccines on earth unless he wanted us to use them - please let us not make this a religious debate because the Man upstairs puts lots of things on earth which are bad for us so we can have choice.
So whether it is good or bad our choice is .. well our choice - and when little bubby peanut grows up and thinks He wants to be vaccinated then that will be his choice.
Also - Im glad that I can have such a supportive husband who Loves me and listens to me prattle on about things over and over again (and not saying anything or offering any suggestions but hopefully still listening) until I can sort them out.. apparently men just go gaze at fires and come to decisions.
And a SUPER DUPER thanks to Lisa who let me know we can still get the baby bonus in full! what a relief!! At least I'll get some tax back someway!
p.s - check out this site, this Crib is soo yummy.

MUM SAYS " "
11pm Friday Night (mum is lying in bed - from the bedroom we hear)
MUM: Hey...
ME: Yes?
MUM: Do you know Robbie Williams?
ME: Who?
COLLETTE: The Singer.
ME: Yeah?
MUM: This Couple in Melbourne wanted to hire him to sing one song at their wedding and guess how much he wanted to charge them?
COLLETTE: (and Im thinking in my head 1 million dollars)
ME: How much?
MUM: three hundred and fifty thousand ... so they said no.
THE END
GREAT STORY MUM!
p.s remember the time

DEar World.
Just to clear up about the last post on vaccinations. Kyle and I have been talking about our children, not just swine flu. Although I am fully vaccinated and Kyle is mostly vaccinated as far as he can remember.. we have decided not to vaccinate our children.
I was disappointed to see that the government pays half the baby bonus at a childs birth but the other half is not received until after the first vaccination at 8 weeks old.
However, no amount of money could convince me to vaccinate my children.
Our family is very divided on the subject on vaccinations and if you talk to Collette or Mum ( for Vaccinations) you'll probably get a battering - if you talk to Lisa (against vaccinations) you'll hear about her research into pharmaceutical companies and their power over the world bank and money.
Im not left or right, I just think if Heavenly Father gave us bodies that have been fighting diseases since moses on their own .. why bother.
Also on the subject headlines of our household have been other things we put into our bodies which aren't intended to be there.
Such as highly processed supermarket products filled with artificial enhancers, salts and sugars.
As we plan to have a family and raise them to be healthy and strong Im slowly beginning to realise we should all just become recluses living on farms and eating our own produce away from other people.. or at least live like bubble boy.

H.P
Last night Kyle & I decided to go on a date - we had the chance to go see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
It was interesting to see how big they had all gotten since we have been watching the other movies on WIN in anticipation.
Even better was that Daniel Radcliffs acting has actually gotten MUCH better which makes me connect more with the movie because before he was just plain dull!
The date was a success apparently because Kyle got a kiss good night at the front door .. and then he got to come in ;)
The joys of being married & not having to say good night.

the Modern SOCialite
Tonight I ordered my pizza online, I text my supervisor who I have never met and lives on the other side of the state – I text my co-worker who is on holidays in New Zealand and received a voicemail from my manager who lives in Melbourne (never met her either) to email her the weekly summaries via her new address.
I spoke to my mum for approx 24 minutes and 53 seconds on the mobile - which in total cost me $2.67 c which I found out through my internet phone billing account and I recharged my broadband with the credit card.. .. across the internet of course.
If I hadn’t left the house at around 2:30pm I probably wouldn’t of seen anyone else all day and if I didn’t have a social husband I probably wouldn’t of even needed to open my mouth (unless you count the mornings brushing) until around 8:03pm when I called my mum.
OH and at 8:56 when I opened the door to the pizza guy to exchange a light “how much do I owe you?”
In fact I could’ve spent the whole day being “social” via txt, phone, email, facebook, myspace, and any other “network” without actually having any physical contact.
Whatever happened to letters that took a week through the post - OR just a good ole fashioned face to face chin wag. Is all this stuff really keeping us "connected" or is it just pushing us leagues further apart?
The first letter I got in the mail (which wasn’t a bill in a good 6 months) was an engagement card a couple weeks ago.
But since even bills are turning to the internet ( bigpond and vodaphone) looks like pretty soon the postie is going to be out of the job at my house and since your not engaged or newly married forever (which I can confirm, the cards will soon run out too)

ITCHY Hives
on SATURday:
Saturday I started to feel REALLY itchy on the bottom of my feet and then...
I suddenly found out that too much DAIRY and WHEAT aint good for me -- added to the stress of getting married and I broke out in...
HIVES! yes hives - THEY are ITCHY itchy itchy itchy ITCHY - and they wont go away! its NOW tuesday and theyre HUGE and EVERYWHERE and my eyes are puffy and I look like an alien.
Just when I think theyre going they COME BACK! in different spots! (which is apparently their thing) which means If i put soothing cream on there is no doubt in 30 mins it wont be in the right spots!!
Sob sob, I'm off Dairy for good (which apparently Mum says means chocolate too) and Ive gone to Rye bread - still itchy off to have another bath. YUC
Pray for me!

SNEAK peek
No you cannot see the front its a secret..
So I found this awesome site recently on the internet which I AM ADDICTED TO!
I have brought sooo much off it -- the world of EBAy is my pride and joy.
So GUESS where I just happened to come across a brand new size 6 wedding dress for $100 + $27.00 postage?
Brand new (as you can tell from the pic up the top) because it was used for an add -- so the model wore it and that was it.. they couldnt sell it in the shop.
and NOW it is mine!! mwahaha
anyone know of a good dress maker? so I can add sleeves?

Rings and THings
WELl:
Just in case you didn't know - I'M ENGAGED..
Yes thats right - to the most handsome, gorgeous, gallant guy in the whole of St Leonards. (where he lives)
{I couldnt say in the whole of the State or I think Dale might hit me over the head if he reads this blog..}
Anyway -- Here's how it happens..
Tuesday afternoon we head into town to get my ring size and chat to the jewellers about resetting a ring which I had previously picked out. The jeweller says this might take up to THREE WHOLE WEEKS to get done and I am thinking "Oh ME, Oh My" because I am KNOWING that Kyle wants a ring in the proposal .. So i resign to wait ANOTHEr 3 Weeks UNtil I can SNAG my FAVOURITEST PERSON IN St Leonards (again just for Dale)
Wednesday I come home from a messy day at school to find a note on the door which says
"If you love me eternally
(isnt he just the sweetest?)
have a shower put on a nice dress and meet me at City Park
Love Kyle
p.s Im looking good"
NOW I am thinking" what is this all about? I thought we had agreed to do the washing up when I got home from school" .. actually it was more like
" Why hasn't he done the washing up when I asked him to do it some-time today (there's the reason, should've said before I got back from school) I bet he's taking me on a date so he can get out of it"
ANyway - these thoughts all happen in a split second thought moment as they do and I quickly get over it (YES GUYS if you ever want to get out of the washing up there is your answer!)
So i do a little girly "giggle" and jump in the shower then I spend the next 30 minutes trying on various frocks and thinking " I wonder what colour he is wearing " and " Is this too good looking - I dont want him to feel overshadowed;) "
About 5:30 I am ready and go and find my LoVe
City Park - is looking awfully gorgeous since it was such a nice day and I find him at the Chess board.
He dances with me, he woo's me, I swoon .. We re-enact I am sixteen going on seventeen from the sound of music on the bench seats around the Chess board.
I sit down on the seat - he bobs in front of me and looks at me mysteriously.. I let out a flirty "mmm..?"
Kyle " I have an important question to ask"
Jess " You may ask me a very important question"
Kyle "Jessica Mary Gibson (you know he is serious when he says my middle name) Will you Marry me "
and for a second I'm astounded because he pulls out a ring... MY RING?!
Jess "YES!" and we all live happily ever after.
So he had gone and purchased it to SUPRISE ME! WHAt a SUPRISE!! I was truly SUPRISED!
(it was a bit big but i wore it proudly all that night before we took it in to get resized and reset the next day.)
and now it will be done in a WEEk.. such blessings!!
