Mr Magoo & B book

TODAy:

I managed to finish Mr Magoo & Baby boys 'B Book' which I have been making over the last couple of days.

Magoo is made out of yummy warm flannel which I am in love with at the moment & his pattern comes from Melly & Me (see the side bar for a link in Favourites to her blog)

'B book' is a project I started yesterday after reading Made by Rae (see the side bar again) for Celebrate the boy week and her special guest blogger had made a soft book. I LOVE the yummy colour of the stripey green material.

B is for "BOOk" & "Baby" (or if your clued in it could even have something to do with baby boys name.

B is for Boat and Bear

B is for banana and ball
B is for buttons and bug ( or bee as Kyle pointed out)
B is for bell.

Off to print my Rollie Pollie pattern as it has been sitting in my email ALL day and I haven't had a chance to print it yet..

Teenie Sewing

Little Shoes for a Little
BOy:

Today I thought I might try some little baby shoes - I got the website from Toni's blog who got the pattern from www.stardustshoes.blogspot.com I don't think I have the sewing stamina to make as many pairs as Toni did so one was enough for today.
They are made out of flannel so they are super soft and warm, with a minkee lining & a thick canvas soul so they don't wear through too quickly.

I am very proud of my little boy shoes :)

Happy Valentines

bemyVALENTINe:

Strapped for things to do for Kyley Kyle & Valentines day only hours away I unpacked some of my art ply wood letters and came up with this..

Its just some ply letters sewn into Fabric.. I thought it was nice since I have not had time to scrap book any wedding photos yet, so it was good to crack them open and pick some out to put in the Lovebook so we can enjoy them all the time.

.. Still waiting for my Valentines though.. ;)

I'm thinking of getting some large separate letters and material to do something similar for baby boys room... any suggestions what the letters should say?

ie: nursery, baby, etc..

Loving

LOVINg:

27 weeks + 1

Loving that the woman at the post office thought it was ok to lean over the counter and poke my belly.

Loving that baby boy has decided to get out the disco ball between 12 & 2am most nights now & parties it up in the womb leaving me VERY tired. (He was sleeping through the night, giving me a wake up call about 6.30 am, wonder what has changed.. any suggestions for sleep?)

and Honestly Loving these Mae wall stickers which are made out of Fabric and completely wall safe and re-usable, because they're fabric you can even wash them! Perfect for us because we don't have a house, adding these to my " hubby I want" wishy list.
