I am not sure if any of you have ever read a Lauren Child book, but they are absolutely enchanting. I own What Planet Are You From Clarice Bean?
Give them a go. Her illustrations are actually a form of photography.
and her books are often very quirky and interesting. Even for the adults.

Oh yes! I love Charlie and Lola. Love her books. They are very enchanting, and Charlie and Lola is on ABC kids too! I'm sure you'd still watch it and all ;) Ask your nieces and nephews i bet they have seen it.
I love them too- they are great for teaching too! (for kinder/prep kids) Not that you need that- Today in art we did some pottery and I even used a similar childlike image on that!
