Right Job, Wrong Time

There is definitely a time and a season for everything.

Lately I have been looking for something which would help me to feel fulfilled as an individual and like I contribute to the families income a little.

We don't need the money, but I have been feeling like a bit of a leech and a little drained artistically.

Something one day a week to help me get out of the house and feel balanced as a Mummy & an individual.

Today I got a phone call about a job as a school photographer, (perfect job for me) the job is part time (one maybe two days a week) but there is a catch.

Obviously the beginning of the year is a busy time for school photos (the ones you all order to see your kiddies grow through their years of schooling -- you know the ones with the ugly mottled grey backgrounds.)

This means there are 8 weeks at the beginning of the year when the job is full time (first term) because every school in Victoria wants their photo's taken in first term while the kiddies are still looking 'fresh'.

This means that Bastian would be second priority during these 8 weeks, the only way to facilitate this kind of work is to place him in day-care, he'll be about 10 months old.

Too young for day-care in my opinion. A year later and I might've taken the job because I think he would've been able to handle it at nearly two, but at the moment a job that makes me feel unfulfilled as a Mother but fulfilled as an individual is the "Right Job, Wrong Time".

I love being a Mother, I would not give it up for anything in the world - even one of my MOST favourite things to do could not keep me from my baby boy.

If anyone has a job like this, please let me know:

WANTED

One caring, loving, passionate mother who loves photography willing to work one day a week.
Please bring your baby to work, and your husband too if he has the day off.

(p.s: there was a job in the newspaper the other day for extras, perhaps Bastian could be a movie star?)
