Boy meets Goat

Bastian & I were perusing the internet when a little free activity in Westfield caught our eye.

We immediately rang our new American Friends so that they could join us..

When we arrived there was a bit of a line, but soon it was our turn to go in to pet all the baby animals.
There were baby ducks, little lambies, oinking piglets, greedy goats, silly sheep, furry rabbits, gorgeous guinea pigs & huffy hens.

One little goat decided it would like to drink out of Bastian's bottle (woops for leaving the bag open)

While Bastian taught another Kid that it wasn't ok to lick him on the face (above)

 (the goat wasn't harmed)

We loved the animal farm and I was glad that Bastian gets to practice being gentle on Cocoa and wasn't freaking out about it all. (some kids were hilarious-- eg: Random Child getting cornered by a teeny Rabbit and having a meltdown ..)

In fact I'm pretty sure he is more gentle with the animals than he is with other children but thats another story..

For the benefit of Collette

Ok, so the other week I went shopping with my two sisters in-law for a dress for a wedding in Eltham last Saturday. Don't get me wrong, I love my sisters in law -- but I LOVE my sister MORE!

I missed going into the change room and trying a million things on together because there are no free change rooms.

Or finding the daggyest things and taking pics of ourselves, and just plain having a laugh.

And then of course there is the fashion parade when we get home.

Anyway, a couple weeks ago we went online (at least we can still do that together!)

So for the benefit of Collette, here is the fashion parade -- when you get yours you better do the same!

These dresses are beautiful, they are from a store called Shabby Apple.
Shabby Apple dresses are modest! see no cardigans, tanktops and no leggings!

I'm actually pretty impressed with the sizing too, not only because of the guide on the website but because we didn't have a tape measure we measured with a belt and a "real size" online ruler from google.

P.S: if you love my necklace (which I absolutely do) check out two turtle doves.

6 little teeth

6 little teeth to chomp on my food with
6 little teeth to grind it all up.
6 little teeth to bite fingers that go in my mouth with.

and a cheeky smile to match.
